What is inside an Expack?
Hand-picked, expertly curated items from your home country. The most popular items are sent often but we'll make sure to include some awesome new stuff to try as well.
How does it work?
Expack is a monthly subscription service for expatriates. Each month, users get a box filled with the goodies they miss from back home. Sign up on the homepage and follow the instructions until you get the payment confirmation page. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any point.
I would like to get the box for this month by when do I need to sign up?
Our "new subscription sign-up" starts on the first of the month and the cut-off is at the end of every month by 5pm Pacific, in order to receive the following month's box. Example: October Expack signup is from September 1st through September 31 at 5pm Pacific.
I just subscribed, when will my first box arrive?
If you are a first time subscriber the arrival of your first box depends on the date/time you placed your order. See above answer for subscription signup and cut-off information. If you are still not sure and would like to find out when your first box will ship just write to us at email@example.com ;)
When do Expacks ship?
We start shipping the 10th of each month. That said, sometimes things happen, such as the 10th falls on a weekend when carriers don't pick up, etc, and shipping is slightly delayed. f you have not received your shipment notification after the 12th please let us know. When your box is shipped you will receive an email notification. We ship via different carriers for international orders depending on the destination country, your shipment notification will have the shipping information specific to your box.
Do you ship internationally?
Shipping is currently available within the continental US only with the exception of Canadian boxes. Canadian Expacks are shipped worldwide. An extra charge of $10 USD applies to all international orders. Please note: your home-land may charge you for customs and/or taxes depending on where you live.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
By default, all subscriptions auto-renew. You can always pause your subscription by skipping a month or cancel all together...but then again why would you? :)
When can I expect to be billed for my subscription?
You’ll pay for your first box when you place the order. Starting with your second box, you’ll be on a regular monthly billing and shipping cycle. Re-billing occurs on the 18th of every month.
What currency am I charged in?
All charges on Expack.co are processed in US Dollar.
I 'm going on a trip how do I skip my box for next month?
It's easy, log in to our website, go to "My Account", then under "Your Subscription", click "Edit", the next page has a button on the top right called "Skip Next Renewal" then follow the prompts to complete the request....but remember you must do it by the 17th at 5pm Pacific in order to skip the following month! If it’s after the 17th just write in to firstname.lastname@example.org, and as long as your box has not shipped, we'll do it for you :)
How do I change my shipping address?
Two ways: You can log into your account on our website, go to My Account, under Shipping Address you can Edit or Add a new Address, follow prompts to complete change, OR You can write to us and we’ll take care of it for you. Most account changes take effect on your next renewal, so if you want to make sure the change takes place for the upcoming month please write to us instead.
How do I cancel my subscription?
All you have to do is log into your account, select the subscription you would like to cancel, and click “Cancel subscription”. We would love to know why you are canceling though, so please make sure to let us know in the comments area. Please note that you are canceling all renewals and not previous orders. All shipments that have been paid for before you cancel will still be shipped to you.
Can I choose the goodies I get?
Where is the fun in that? Our Expacks are expertly curated by locals from each country and are filled with your favorites. We do show our boxes in advance (make sure to LIKE us on Facebook), so you can decide if you want to skip the month. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even change the country you receive each month by logging into your account. Make sure you pause, skip or change the country of your box before the 17th of each month so your selection is reflected the following month.
Can I return an Expack?
Expacks are nonrefundable and are ineligible for returns.
